A meditation place north of Bangkok, planned around a hall beside a reflecting pool — and a small house of their own for every practitioner.
Vimutti Valley is planned as a permanent home for meditation courses in Pathum Thani, north of Bangkok. Everything in the plan serves one aim: a stay quiet and private enough that practice can go deep.
Instead of shared rooms, each practitioner will have a small house of their own, set among gardens and walking paths. The day gathers in a meditation hall that looks out over a long reflecting pool, with a library and a dining hall close by, and the busy service areas kept to the edge of the site, away from the quiet zone.

Small single houses in the garden, for privacy and real quiet.
A tall meditation hall with glass to the pool and the sky.
Still water in front of the hall, to rest the eyes between sittings.
Books on practice, and a simple dining hall for the group.
These pictures are an early, incomplete concept, with two layouts for the houses. The design is not finished and still needs a great deal of revision — read them as a sketch of the idea, not as what will be built.

Concept design by MOOD, September 2026. Early draft — incomplete, much will change.
Vimutti Valley does not exist yet. The land has not been bought. We are waiting for supporters who wish to help make it real, and the planning continues in the meantime.
An early concept for the hall, the houses and the site layout. Not complete — much is still to be revised.
Revising the design and looking for supporters to secure the land.
Buying the land, then building in stages. We will share each step.
We did not want the practice to wait for the buildings. While Vimutti Valley is being planned, we run 5-day meditation courses in English at a place kindly lent to us in Khlong Luang, Pathum Thani.
